Cwa Course New Syllabus 2012 Details

Institute of cost accountant of India(ICWAI/ICAI) introduce a new syllabus 2012 of cwa course.Students admitted to the Courses of the Institute, w.e.f. 1st December, 2012 shall pursue Courses under Syllabus 2012.The First Examination under Syllabus 2012 shall be conducted in December 2013. The Last Examination under Revised Syllabus 2008 shall be conducted in June 2015. Examinations under both the Syllabus shall be conducted simultaneously up to June 2015. Students of revised syllabus 2008 can continue their studies under revised 2008 syllabus up to June 2015.Existing students can pursue new syllabus 2012 also.



FOUNDATION COURSE SYLLABUS
Paper 1 Fundamentals of Economics And Management
Paper 2 Fundamentals of Accounting
Paper 3 Fundamentals of Laws and Ethics
Paper 4 Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics


INTERMEDIATE COURSE SYLLABUS
Group 1
Paper 5 Financial Accounting
Paper 6 Laws Ethics And Governance
Paper 7 Direct Taxation
Paper 8 Cost Accounting and Financial Management
Group 2
Paper 9 Operations Management & Information Systems
Paper 10 Cost and Management Accounting
Paper 11 Indirect Taxation
Paper 12 Company Accounts and Audit

TRAINING FOR THE INTERMEDIATE COURSE
1) 100 hours computer training
2) Communication and Soft Skills Training(3 days/18 hours)

Paper 15 Corporate Financial Management
Paper 16 Tax Management and Practice

TRAINING FOR THE FINAL COURSE
1)Industry Oriented Training(7 days/42 hours)
2)Practical Training(3 years)

FINAL COURSE EXAM APPEARING ELIGIBILITY
Out of the 3 years practical training, a student must registered for 1 year practical training out of which 6 months must be completed before 31st March/ 31st September respectively to become eligible to make an application for examination to be held in June/December, for appearing in both groups.
